Join Teddy Roosevelt himself as he tells the story of how his time in the West changed his life, from a thin young city slicker to a robust and adventurous cowboy. Stories include encounters with wild people and animals and how these experiences gave him the insight and courage to protect and preserve the West.

Program runs one hour, including time for questions. Suitable for 3rd grade students and older. Explore Museum galleries after the program. Space is provided to eat lunch. Admission is free for students and chaperones (1 per 7 students). Ask about a $125/bus travel reimbursement. Space is limited and preregistration is required by May 2. Space is limited, reserve a spot for your class using the online form or at (405) 478-2250 ext. 241.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLING A VISIT: If you must cancel a tour, please leave a voicemail message with the Visitor Services Manager at (405) 478-2250 ext. 241 or email sstrain@nationalcowboymuseum.org within 48 hours of your scheduled visit. A cancellation fee of $30 will be billed to the business office of those groups failing to make a cancellation (this does not apply to weather related incidents).
